What is CoolSculpting ™?
Coolsculpting ™ is an FDA-approved, non-invasive procedure that removes unwanted fat cells without harming the surrounding tissue. CoolSculpting specifically targets those exercise-resistant, small pockets of fat and requires less time and money than traditional invasive treatments.

What happens during the procedure?
Unlike most other methods of fat reduction, CoolSculpting involves no needles, surgery or downtime and each treatment area only takes one hour. No anesthesia or pain medication is needed, and you can resume daily activities immediately after your treatment.
Cryolipolysis, a precisely controlled cooling method, is used during the procedure to target, cool and eliminate fat cells without damaging the skin or other tissues. After the provider positions the device on your body, it then draws the targeted bulge up between two cooling panels. The sensation is a firm tug and pull – enough of a pull to ensure the selected tissue will be cooled most efficiently. You can read, nap, listen to music or surf the internet. After the procedure, your body begins naturally flushing out the frozen, crystallized fat cells.

What are my results?
Although results can be seen as quickly as three weeks after the procedure, the body continues flushing fat cells for up to six months. The areas treated will naturally flatten out during this time. Each treatment should yield about 20-25 percent in fat reduction. After the initial treatment cycle is complete, you can attain further reductions with additional procedures. However, many patients find one treatment fully addresses their goals.

Are the results permanent?
